H&M brings to life its Manhattan locations through mobile

Retailer H&M have partnered with AR platform Goldrun to provide a unique interactive mobile retail experience.

The iPhone app lets users interact with H&M clothing & accessories displayed in the storefront windows of the retailer’s Manhattan locations. Consumers can choose the items they want to view and capture them with their phones to create their own ‘virtual fashion show’, receiving an instant 10% off the store’s wares and be entered for a chance to win gift certificates and a trip to Las Vegas. The app facilitates trying on outfits virtually, posting of images to Facebook, and creating custom lookbooks.

This app can also be a platform for future treasure hunts and other larger promotional campaigns. Simple and cool.
