A gym that helps pay your energy bill? Absolutely

You can see from the title of this video that it is already over a year old. I'm surprised that I wasn't aware of it sooner. However, good ideas need to be shared regardless how old they are.

This energy saving idea developed by an energy company, Fortum. Unbelievable right! The premise is beautiful: demonstrate that you are a company that truly wants to save energy but going out and doing it, but differently. So Fortum creates a gym where your workout generates power. This amount of power is directly reduced from your home energy bill. Furthermore, your membership automatically hooks you into the Forum Active social media platform where you can measure your progress against others and share with the world that you are physically bringing down your energy bill and doing your part to help the environment.
